WINE – chosen with care, priced to be reasonable for the quality
ALE – we are still a 100% free house (‘can’t think of any around here’), so we are able to stock any real ale (a real passion of ours), or lager we wish and keep the price right. Our ale is not determined by accountants or bank managers (unless they are customers and behave themselves), it is decided upon because of it's quality and local popularity                        COOKHOUSE – virtually our entire menu is freshly cooked (i.e. not ‘bought in’), i.e. we cook it ourselves and once again, even though the portions are on the ‘very generous' side, we tend to keep the bill lower than the local competition. We opt for honest quality of ingredients and source locally and use local trades, suppliers and consumables, wherever possible
