Crab and Prawn Cocktail

A veritable delight of juicy white crab and tender iced peeled prawns, on shredded market salad leaves, garnished with tomato, lemon wedge and whole prawns, then served with fresh brown bread and our light and 'zangy' Marie Rose dressing

Garlic Prawn Serrano (serrano is a mild chilli)

Whole ('cept head), large, meaty and del-ici-ous giant king prawns, pan fried in garlic, black pepper, thinly sliced mild chilli (serrano when available) and cilantro butter then served on toasted sippets with chopped coriander and lemon

Calamari

Rings of young squid, lightly coated, deep fried and served with a wedge of lemon and our eminent, fresh garlic mayonnaise

A special pot of whole steamed mussels, in a rich sauce of white wine, garlic, cream and fresh chopped parsley, served with warm French bread (le mop!)

Crispy Brie (v)

Two very decent wedges of bread-crumbed, firm French brie, deep fried until meltingly delicious and crispy, then served with a ribbon of chilli jam coulis and two slices of toasted French bread

We adore our chicken liver pate, which we serve with hot toasted French loaf slices, a spoon of our famous (secret) house chutney, butter and a salad garnish

A platter normally consisting of; chicken breast strips, garlic mushrooms, spicy onion rings, cheese sticks, vegetable spring rolls, corn chips, crispy sweetcorn sticks, stuffed jalapenos etc and a selection of dips; normally garlic mayo', sweet chili, salsa, 'caper-rich' tartare and real blue cheese
